Yard Laborer

This position is perfect for those just getting into the construction industry. This is an entry level role where you can set a foundation and grow in the field. Seeking candidates with a strong work ethic, willing to learn, and has the ability to be flexible and adapt. Opportunities include full-time and part-time applicants.

Work Location: In person.

Job Duties

• Prepare and pick orders, load customers and unload incoming trailers. 
• Operate forklift and other heavy equipment (such as skid steer, backhoe, loader etc.) as directed and specified while adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Load bins for production, restock material and check in orders
• Assist in cleaning and organizing warehouse and yard
• Assist in other duties related to the production facility or facility yard

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• A plus to have experience operating fork lift and/or other heavy equipment
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• To follow and enforce the companies safety policies and procedures
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and the public
• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be able to work independently
• To enforce good housekeeping; Trucks, Yard/Facility and equipment

Work Hours typically 6:00am-4:30pm- Saturdays 7:00am-12:00pm
