Looking for a motivated leader with strong industry knowledge to survey projects, estimate labor and material costs, communicate financial cost and timelines, and work directly with the chief construction officer to contract successful bids throughout and around the Philadelphia tri-state area.
Applicants must have experience with construction, excavation, demolition or other relative experience. Those without industry experience will not be considered. Work Location: In person only.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
- Able to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
- Ensure accountability for results that maximize contribution to business objectives.
- Consult with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates to ensure overall accuracy.
- Maintain thorough records of all project estimate documentation, including estimates, plans, communications with stakeholders and other material.
- Visit project sites and other venues necessary to complete an accurate estimate.
- Perform complex analysis of collected data and risk analysis activities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project bid documentation.
- Ensure deliverables are fully understood, fall within the applicable scope and budget, and meet deadlines.
- Forecast and present relevant estimates in a timely and polite manner.
